A Photoshop alternative ?
Needed a good photo editor software for a service program coming up shortly, and looked on the web .... came across GIMP, here is more .....-*-

Have installed it and have been using it for some time, looks promising. For a once-in-awhile user there should be no difference between PS and GIMP.

The GIMP is quite close to Photoshop, some of the features need fine tuning but otherwise a medium-skilled photoshop user should be able to work with the GIMP. The interfaces may seem confusing to start with but thats OK as long as the functionality is like PS. Here is a legitimate alternative to the costly PS.
